We Are The Dreamers

Buckhorn South Dakota

Gordon is placing a call to the Twin Peaks Sheriff Station. This is exciting as it not only has the potential to move some chess pieces on the board but closer to a checkmate. It allows for important information to exchange ears.
Unfortunately, one of those pair of ears belongs to FBI Deputy Director Gordon Cole. Who not only has trouble hearing with his antiquated hearing aid but never seems to ask enough questions when the moment arises.Gordon thinks he is speaking with Harry. Not surprising, as they seem to have abandoned the town of Twin Peaks once Coop flew the Coop 25 years ago. Strange that they would not check in from time to time, especially since Cole had actually visited the town AND witnessed some of its weirdness first hand along with Agent Coopers reports. For a Blue Rose case aficionado,it feels like he dropped the ball in his investigations.I wonder what agent investigated Coopers disappearance? When Agent Desmond disappeared ,Cooper was sent to investigate. Was Gordon concerned about sending another Blue Rose Agent into the fire to get burned?Would he have sent Albert?Who was familiar with the townsfolk.Or might his general attitude be seen as a detriment in this delicate matter?
But first Gordon has to talk to Lucy. Two confused individuals try to have a confusing conversation. The look Gordon gives the phone with his darting eyes is priceless in its hilarity. After all he has seen even he has a WTF face.
Gordon is returning Frank Truman's call.Truman is off-put by Gordon's loud malapropism filled approach. Truman wanted to share information about the found missing pages from Laura Palmer's secret diary and their indication of there being TWO Coopers.Gordon ,of course, explains that he can not speak of what he knows about this particular revelation as it is part of a current investigation.I found it a little odd that Gordon didn’t request a copy of the pages.Frank doesn’t really get into details or quote the message. The specifics about the Lodge and the Good Dale would be important to hear
This scene helps in establishing similar timelines between events in Buckhorn and with Twin Peaks. Las Vegas, still feels as if its days behind now, but catching up. Truman,Hawk, and Bobby find the pages and then the Briggs message. Frank Truman then calls Gordon, most likely on the behest of Harry after one of their conversations or maybe after he delivered the room key.Gordon gets the message and then a few days later or maybe the same day the message was relayed, returns the call.
Curious though, why didn’t Truman also mention the return of the room key? When two separate events occur simultaneously pertaining to the same object in inquiry one must always pay strict attention. The fact that this specific long lost room key that was connected to Cooper shows up NOW? is important. They might not have been able to trace back where the key was mailed from in Las Vegas but if they could? That would be another connection from Cooper to Las Vegas to "Dougie Jones".
Harry and his illness is discussed. "All the best to Harry" *sniffle* I hope the real actor who portrayed Harry is not sick like his fictional one and this is the shows way of sending a rally of support.
Buckhorn.

Albert is filling in Tammy on Blue Rose details. He discusses the first known case from 1975.
"Case #1.This started the whole thing.1975.Two young field agents investigate a murder in Olympia Washington. They arrive at a motel to arrest a suspect named Lois Duffy. They hear a gunshot outside her room and kick the door in.They find two women inside,One on the floor dying from a bullet wound to the abdomen. The other holds a gun which she drops as she backs away when they enter. They recognize the wounded woman as Lois Duffy. She speaks her last words to them "I'm like the blue rose."She smiles, then dies, then disappears before their eyes. The other woman screaming in the corner, they now notice is also Lois Duffy.(Lois Duffy did not have a twin sister). Then while awaiting trial for a murder she swore she didn’t commit, she hangs herself. Those two arresting officers were Gordon Cole and Phillip Jeffries.
Albert:Now, whats the one question you should ask me?
Tammy:What's the significance of the blue rose?
Albert:And the answer?
Tammy:Blue rose does not occur in nature. Its not a natural thing,The dying woman was not natural.Conjured.Whats the word.A tulpa.

TULPA:A Tulpa is a thoughtform, or being created from the collective thoughts of separate individuals. The concept of Tulpas is theoretical in nature and originates from Tibetan mythology, where Tulpas are described as extra bodies that were created from one person's mind in order to travel to spiritual realms.Modern practitioners use the term to refer to a type of imaginary friend.

Gordon enters with a thumbs up and a call for coffee time. He also hands Albert something and says " Albert, I think I got it." What could this be in reference to? He next says that "Diane is on her way" Are these two connected?Did Gordon hand Albert a note that explains what he has calculated or something he needs Albert to prompt or ask Diane about when she enters?

Just then ,outside the windows of the hotel room, a window washer starts working. The high pitched scraping of the brush along the window irritates Gordon’s sensitive ears to no end. Occurring moments after the mention of Diane and knowing how Gordon’s hearing is effected. Is this intentional on someones part? The directors attempting to red herring dread? or an outside influence trying to disrupt the proceedings?

The cleaner is erratic in his work.As if to make the most noise.A noise that sounds almost screeching monkey like, going well along with his silhouette shape and movements. He also doesn’t clean the adjacent window in the room, the next window in the direction he was shown moving. He could be very well be moving up or down the building and not side to side.We do hear at least one more squeaking sound after he has moved on.

Diane enters wearing the green outfit we last saw her wearing in the bar. This would indicate that previously we were seeing her enter the coordinates into her phone while in the bar the next morning before the hotel bar opened.Diane is an early drinker ,apparently. She doesn’t have issues.she has full on subscriptions.
Deputy Diane Reporting.Gordon asks if the last night she saw Cooper if he mentioned Major Garland Briggs.
But Diane doesn’t want to talk about that night. She's not going to talk about that night at all. Leave Judy out of this.
             Diane reluctantly answers "Yes"
Its never been clarified when this night occurred. But now that Major Briggs is part of the conversation it has to have occurred after Agent Cooper visited Twin Peaks and then was replaced by his Doppelganger. That means that Diane met an early version of the Doppelcooper/BOB incarnation. It can not have been pretty.I imagine that the conversation was lively.Starting out like their earlier interactions, but then with a hint of something being off. Then a Diane began to suspect something was wrong, BOB and the Doppelganger decided to play with their food for awhile. I imagine them using Coopers memories of conversation that occurred between the two in the past. The Bad Dale rubbing salt into Diane’s wounds. If Diane had feelings for Cooper, maybe the Bad Dale played up on that.Tried to make something happen. But since the Bad Dale would still be transitioning into this side of the world he may not have been at full power and Diane doesn't appear to be one you can fuck without a fight.
Albert reveals to Diane that they have been investigating an old case of Coopers involving Major Briggs.Briggs dies in a fire at his government facility 25 years ago.
Diane says "Right" after this statement. It's curious the manner in which she says it.Not sarcastic.
Albert continues:" Turns out he died here in Buckhorn, and we found this in his stomach.(holds up ring) The ring was inscribed "To Dougie with Love,Janey-E "
Diane reacts to this " Oh,my God" My sisters name is Jane,my half sister. She's married to a man named Douglas Jones. But everybody calls him Dougie. And her nickname's Janey-E."
Last Diane heard they lived in Las Vegas. She and her sister are estranged (she hates her-no surprise, but I don't think this is entirely true, but more of the expected Diane statement of feelings for others)
Cole then contacts the Las Vegas FBI office.Asking for them to find whatever they can on a Mr and Mrs Douglas Jones.Saying they are wanted in connection with a double murder and may be armed and dangerous. But ONCE AGAIN, Gordon neglects to communicate an important piece of information.Douglas Jones is a pretty common enough name. Why not give the wife’s name,Jane? Janey-E ,though a nickname, would be a useful piece of information as well in narrowing down the potentials when questioning or researching. They now have 23 to investigate.
On the wall of the Las Vegas office hangs a photo of President Eisenhower.A photo of Eisenhower can also be seen on the wall of the Philadelphia office when Bowie appears. And keen eyed viewers also spot the fallen photo on the floor when Johnny Horne bangs his head into the wall.
Diane leaves the room a bit shaken at this sudden connection.
Gordon shares a little information about his conversation with Truman and the fact that they are onto something about two Coopers. Then he begins to share a another dream he had last night featuring a Monica Belucci.

Albert (having been taken down this rabbit hole by Gordon probably many times before gives a chuckle) "Oh,boy"
"I was in Paris on a case.Monica called and asked me to meet her at a certain cafe. She said she needed to talk to me.When we met at the cafe, Cooper was there but I couldn’t see his face.Monica was very pleasant. She had brought friends. We all had a coffee. And then she said the ancient phrase... "We're like the dreamer, who dreams and then lives inside the dream."
I told her I understood and then she said "But who is the dreamer?"
A very powerful uneasy feeling came over me. Monica looked past me and indicated to me to look back at something that was happening there
I turned and looked.I saw myself.I saw myself from long ago,in the old Philadelphia offices.Listening to Cooper telling me he was worried about a dream he had."
A dream inside a dream.
Agent Cooper:"Gordon,it's 10:10 on February 16th(1989). I was worried about today because of the dream I told you about"
This is the scene we first saw in Fire Walk With Me.The day Phillip Jeffries appeared...and didn't appear. The sequence appears in black and white as a continuation of Gordon’s dream.Though, it originally appeared in color in Fire Walk With Me. Could the use of black and white have intended connection to The Fireman and his influence on events.Did he send Jeffries from the Lodge to Philadelphia

An emphasis is on Phillips line "Who do you think that is there?" that he speaks while pointing at Agent Cooper. I have always thought this moment and that line held significance watching it all those years ago.At the time it told me that at some point Phillip Jeffries in his Lodge travels had seen Coopers Doppelganger. The missing scenes were not a thing back then but I had in my possession a copy of the Fire Walk With Me Script that gave greater detail to the fate of Phillip Jeffries at the time.
In 1987,Jeffries visited the Palm Deluxe hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he asked the desk clerk if "Ms. Judy" was staying there. The clerk gave him a letter, which he said "the young lady" had left for him. Jeffries proceeded to the lobby elevator, after which he was not seen in public for over two years. It is likely that the Owl Cave Ring was in the envelope.
In FWWM ,Phillip describes finding the owl cave ring and then being transported to the other side and witnessing one of "their" meetings that included woodsmen ,Tremonds,BOB, the Little Man From Another Place and others.
Did Jeffries then use the ring to go back and try to find Judy? Did he use the ring to travel in time and space to the Philadelphia offices? He seemed determined to be there, but quickly loss strength. This type of journey must be difficult on the human form.Jeffries did not seem at the time to be in control of his Lodge travels. But I suspected he was experimenting on how to maintain control. It appeared to me that by noticing the current days date AND year(two years from the last time he remember himself being present within) that this shocking time travel knowledge broke Phillip Jeffries concentration on remaining present. This caused him to lose grip and basically awake from this dream and disappear back where he came from.
Might he have later suffered the same fate as Cooper meeting his doppelganger by going back in?
At the time,I had imagined that the Bad Dale had reentered the Lodge for various purposes( rejuvenation, ritual, travel) and had popped in and out of the Lodge many times much like BOB coming and going from inside Leland. At some point he and Jeffries must have crossed paths inside.Passage of time means very little in the land of the Lodge so when Jeffries over the threshold, he could have seen Coopers doppelganger, either waiting for Cooper to arrive or afterwards. The threat of the doppelganger having to return to the Lodge was unknown at this time.
Let's take a moment to remember David Bowie. I am still hoping that Mark Frost, David Lynch and David Bowie have secretly managed to pull off what will be the greatest return. That hope beyond hope ,Bowie will make a newly filmed appearance in this series. He was still alive when filming began. And there were messages and hints that there is still more to come from David Bowie’s work even after his passing. This would be an amazing accomplishment as no one has leaked a word or hint of its possibility. His Twin Peaks character of Phillip Jeffries has been woven into this series from the start. Something they could have easily done without for the entire season. And now we are shown footage from before.
What might his appearance entail? Just a walk on in the shadows? A silent appearance, sitting in a chair in the Lodge in the final episode?Or will he share a scene with one of the Coopers, or both?
However,in the world of Twin Peaks ,no one can remember this first meeting happening. Until now, they have forgotten about Jeffries and his appearance and disappearance. This memory loss is even reinforced by Agent Cooper in FWWM with his "He WAS here" moment with Gordon Cole and the security camera footage. Had they already started to forget in this moment? It would retroactively explain why Jeffries was never discussed in the original series and why that particular dramatic scene was never discussed whenever Jeffries name came up in this third season.
Albert too, recalls the moment. And this ends the dream discussion. Was there more?
At the Twin Peaks Sheriffs Department, the gang gather for a little walk in the woods. Bobby arrives with some sandwiches from the Double R for the trip. All of them contain meat of some kind except one. That one is just cheese.Based on the smile,Its no surprise that it was ordered by Deputy Andy's.Could this be a subtle hint to the natural purity of Andy? That he doesn’t eat meat products.Doesn’t harm animals for his food? Could that be one of the reasons that out of all the "Bookhouse Boys" who later finds Naido ,he is the one chosen to cross over and receive the message?

Sheriff Truman enters talking to Chad.Answering a nosy question he has asked about why the Sheriff and the gang are about to go up into the woods. But before we know it CHAD IS UNDER ARREST !! Apparently they have been watching Chad and his dirty deeds for month. What was the clincher? It's never mentioned.Could it have been Lucy suspicions that she saw him stealing an official Sheriff station letter?
Later as they leave the road and walk into the woods, we hear the electrical scratching from wires overhead. As they approach what we learn to be Jack Rabbits Palace ,Bobby reveals that they are walking on what used to be a road and that there is nothing left of his Dads listening station. They took everything away.
Part of me wished that somewhere in this moment.Just as they saw the fabled palace that Lynch repeated the image from the series with the four characters stepping into frame.I could actually hear Julee Cruise "Into the Night" playing.Missed opportunity.

And there it is....Jack Rabbits Palace.

Andy reminds them to take some soil in their pockets.

The woods begin to creak like in a Evil Dead movie. As they round a fallen tree we see a small patch of fog floating low to the ground and centralized. Apparently the woods like to vape. There is the flicker of electricity. As they move closer more is revealed.moving even more forward reveals the naked figure of a woman.Who could this be? and why is it here now at this exact point and time?
Andy kneels beside her and takes her hand.Shes alive.Naido begins to speak in her halted gibberish. It almost sounds like the noise a monkey would make.

There is a basin of liquid. Not unlike the circle of scorched engine oil we have seen before the entrance to the Lodge
Sheriff Truman announces its 2:53

Above them the portal begins to open like it did for Gordon.
Andy continues to hold Naido’s hand until the very last moment. He gently places her arm down and then stands. In a flash, he is gone and reemerges in the room of the ???????,thrown backwards into a chair.

The ??????? enters and takes a seat across from Andy. We have seen this scenario before in the very first episode. The ??????? introduces himself
"I am the Fireman"

The Fireman raises his hand, almost as if to wave hello And then an object appears in Andy’s lap. This object has appeared in David Lynch's artwork before.Smoke appears above Andy’s head and around him. There is a flash of electricity. and his gaze is drawn upward to a skylight in the ceiling

We are shown the following images
1)The Abomination,twitching in time
2)The expelling of BOB and seeds of evil
3)The convenience store
4)The woodsmen dancing around the entrance
5)The specific Woodsman who speaks"Got a light?"
6)Electricity traveling down a length of power lines
7)The distorted cry of the school girl from the Twin Peaks pilot.Crying because she has just learned that Laura Palmer was murdered
8)Movement along the red curtain which then the prom photo image of Laura Palmer is superimposed .She if flanked on both sides by her Angels as they appeared in the final scene of FWWM
9)Naido,as we saw her laying on the grass moments before
10)A shaking image of Agent Cooper, and the Bad Dale.splitting from each other.
11)A phone ringing,line one.Possible on Lucy’s desk
12)A shaky cam shot of Andy leading Lucy around the corner of a hallway. It appears as if he is smiling and he is showing her something. Her eyes are on him. In the background ,Andy looks off to his side at someone or something and steps out of frame as the camera moves into a close up of Lucy. She doesn’t react concretely to what she sees in the other room.
13)Another shot of Naido on the ground, this time her hand in Andy’s.She is speaking. The sound is slowed down.
14)A closeup of the telephone pole with the number 6.

The visions end and the smoke returns to the object. It disappears from Andy’s lap.Andy’s heart is beating fast.In another flash, he is gone
What communication is the intention of these vision? It seems like part history lesson and clarification of suspicions.
Andy is shown where this evil started.(Mother of Abomination)That it is ancient and been around for some time. And that it takes many forms.(BOB,Woodsmen). Since this is being presented by who we now know as The Fireman, the potential danger of the Woodsmen is represented by the spoken statement"Got a Light?"-They are looking to start fires.Andy is show the importance of electricity,or modern fire. And the implication of how these beings can travel distances. And how they are already here, having come to Twin Peaks years ago.An act that resulted in the death of Laura Palmer. And event all too familiar to Andy who cried at the sight of her discovered body.Laura is flanked by two angels implying her importance, spiritual power. Is she a saint? That could save Twin Peaks? The Angels are as they appeared in the final scene of Fire Walk With Me. The moment when Agent Cooper has somehow helped free the lost and trapped in the Lodge soul of Laura. The moment she finally saw her angel after all her years of pain and suffering.

The use of these specific angels and the fact that they are not a new representation again leads me to my hope and belief that this third series will end on the same moment that ended Fire Walk With Me. Circling back to the past, from the future.
I want the series to end with Agent Cooper returning from his mental fog, return to Twin Peaks to end his doppelganger. And after everything the Good Dale has been through, after all the time and life he has sacrificed and lost, despite being locked in the lodge for 25 years: Agent Cooper will return to the Lodge one last time. With the purpose to "find Laura", as Leland had requested.Finding her and finally freeing her from the clutches of the Lodge that have appeared to continue to torture her over the years, squeezing yet even more Garmonbozia out of her soul. Is this Laura the spirit the Fireman sent down to Earth so many years ago?
And as Agent Cooper places his hand on Laura’s shoulder and shows her the way to the light of the Angels we cut to the Roadhouse, one last time, where Julee Cruise is on stage singing "Falling".
Andy is shown Naido:blind, alone, and naked.Emphasizing her need for protection.Random thought:With the presence of David Bowie in this episode. might Naido be revealed later to be Judy? That portion of the Bowie/FWWM conversation was absent from the scene as seen in this episode. So as not to draw attention to it?

We see the splitting of Agent Cooper into two forms of himself.Clarifying that there are indeed two Coopers as the Twin Peaks police have been investigating.Does Andy know about the two coopers that have been discussed due to the new evidence?Would they share that piece of information with him?
The phone on the desk rings, line one.Someone is calling.Calling, like to call upon, ask for something? Andy we need to call upon you to be brave?Or calling like, someone is at your door? Will be coming?

Next we were shown Andy leading Lucy to a room.Is this future or is it past?Has this moment already happened in the life of Andy and Lucy?Could it be an important event that has already occurred and Andy understands the implications.Could the Fireman be not only showing Andy Lucy, but Lucy in a specific moment in their relationship.A moment that conveys Andy and how he showed his love for her.Or could it be and moment he has planned for Lucy and what that is implies the importance to him and to her.To her well being?Safety?Lucy has appeared at times in this series to show signs of early on set dementia.Could this have something to do with their son?
If these images are telling a story and following a progression of a timeline, Then its curious that the first image of Naido occurs before the image of the splitting Coopers. The splitting of the two Coopers happened long before Naido fell to earth.Perhaps the images of the splitting being shown afterwards are more to stress the danger of the two coopers to Naido.
We see another shot of Naido , on the ground. This time with her hand in Andy’s. Conveying that it his now his responsibility to care for her.Which he will.

Finally, the vision ends on a closeup of the familiar telephone pole with the number 6.Could this somehow connect to Carl Rod? The electrical pole had appeared near where the boy was run over by Richard(and in the original Fat Trout Trailer park that Carl originally managed before moving to this new one in Twin Peaks). Andy could be familiar with it from not only living in Twin Peaks but having been at the scene of the crime recently as he was shown investigating the vehicle used in the crime.Andy could have taken a statement from Carl at the scene.Could Andy realize that they will need Carl to confront this evil?
Is there an unknown significance to the number 6.Six of them will be needed to fight this fight?Six Bookhouse Boys? Andy,Bobby,Hawk,Frank,Carl.....Cooper?

At the base of Jack Rabbits Palace.Bobby,Truman and Hawk emerge from the woods. overlapping in time and space with themselves. Not unlike the Woodsmen shown earlier. Are they the counterpart to the Lodge woodsman?
The sense of displacement is felt. How did they get here? Why did they leave the spot where Andy disappeared? Why would they leave the body of woman where they found her in the middle of the forest? A officer of the law would not do that, and yet here we have three who are wandering around in daze yards away from a moment where something serious and mind altering happened.Talk about your exposure to the elements.Hope no one dies.
Finally, from the woods appears Andy, carrying Naido. He is determined. "We need to get her down the mountain ,She is very important and there are people who want her dead.Shes fine physically. We need to put her in a cell where she'll be safe. Don’t tell anybody about this." Andy is direct and no where near the bumbling officer we have seen him be in the past.Did he understand what he ha seen? Will he remember?
What did happen? Why was Andy chosen? In the Secret History of Twin Peaks there is a statement made that people just have a way of telling things to Andy.
I imagine the statement that she is fine physically is to assuage any need for calling in a doctor to examine her.Since Doc Hayward is no longer in town, they wouldn’t be able to trust a new face to the fold.We don’t really need to see her examined unless there was something important to be revealed by her physical being.
Of note,Andy is the Sheriff's departments resident sketch artist. Will we see him draw images of what he witnessed on the other side.Or will he forget? He seems to have retained some memories concerning Naido and her need for protection. How will this all connect to Lucy?
Why must these Lodge folk be so obtuse.I know they speak backwards but cant they just make a clear statement for once? It might save a few lives if that is their intention. What purpose was showing Andy these images?
Frank asks, "what happened to us back there?".Hawk and Truman agree that they don’t remember a thing.

Later at the Sheriffs station,Lucy, wearing a typical Twin Peaks sweater wraps a pink robe around Naido, who quietly makes her noises. The nature of Naido is astoundingly unaddressed between the two.Andy and Lucy just treat her like a person.Discussing of all inconsequential things where the robe came from and ,with a smirk ,what happened on a particular night in question when someone let the dogs out....in more ways than one based on the shared smiles on Andy and Lucy’s face.
In a nearby cell, Chad continues to be Chad. While in another cell, a bloody and bruised drunk parrots what is being said around him.The torture that Chad endures between the repeating drunk and the monkey noises of Naido is a joy to watch. This is not the fate I anticipated for Chad, but it will do nicely.
I know that the police station is not large, but why would they place Naido near these two when Andy said that they were to tell no one about her.Sure ,Chads not getting out anytime soon, but the drunk wont be locked up forever. Will the parroting drunk indirectly be the one to figure out what Naido is saying?

We are shown the Great Northern, James Hurley and coworker,Freddie, are taking a break out back on a loading dock.Freddie attempts to crush walnuts with his gloved right hand. The attempt shatters the nut into dust.
According to their badges they work security for the Great Northern. The badges have a similar motif to the patterns on Benjamin Hornes office wall. James says they have one more delivery and then they will hit the Roadhouse.
James infatuation with Renee is discussed.Shes married,James is well aware of this.I'm sensing a pattern with our James. Always wanting what someone else has. Laura was dating Bobby when James was seeing her in secret. Then there was the whole Evelyn debacle. And now Renee.Mildly interesting to note both of Laura’s significant others now work in security.Bobby is an actual cop.Perhaps a nod to his changing his ways. While James seems to be stuck in old patterns and works for a security company.
Freddie must be new to Twin Peaks and this job as James asks him how old he is (23).James then says something strange. Its his birthday today. Is this a joke?Or is he leading into the next conversation? According to the Twin Peaks StarCard trading card collection that was released back around the original series, James' Birthday is 1/1/73. Of course, the trading cards could be dismissed easily as not canon.Personally, I think James is just being sneaky and is leading up to getting an answer about the glove, using the sad state of his life (it being his birthday and here he is at work sitting with a coworker crushing nuts) to coax a confession out of Freddie.
Freddie initially says he's not suppose to tell the story, though he has told his doctor. But acquiesces and explains:
He was living at home in London Town,East End.Six months ago, after a night out drinking with his mates ,he's walking home alone and takes a shortcut down an alley that he has used before. He is struck with a particular feeling that he is wasting his life hanging about at pubs and that he should be helping people. As this feeling is going through him he notices in the alleyway there is a high stack of boxes that he feels the urge to jump on top of them.He does and then all of a sudden he is sucked up into a vortex of a massive tunnel in the air.He floats up in the air of somewhere. The Fireman appears to Freddie and introduces himself telling Freddie to go to the hardware store near his flat where he will find a rack of green rubber gardening gloves .There will be a open package with one right hand glove inside.Purchase it and place it on your hand. Your right hand will then possess the power of an enormous pile driver. Suddenly*POOF* Freddie says he found himself back in his room the next morning. He get up, gets out of bed, drags the comb across his head.(I laughed at this moment because I was thinking the same thing as he said it.I've always loved A Day In The Life by the Beatles). Freddie goes to the hardware store and sure enough there is the open packet of gloves which he purchases, with a bit of trouble. This jobsworth of trouble results in him punching another while wearing the glove. The crack of his aggressors jaw sparks another memory of something the Fireman spoke.:Go to Twin Peaks, Washington, USofA and there you will find your destiny.

So what does this mean for our new bloke Freddie? Is he going to be the one to knock the defiant Doppelganger on his ass? We've seen the Bad Dale take a punch to the head and not be phased. We've also seen the Bad Dale give a punch to the head and watched as that face caved in. Could a similar fate be waiting the Bad Dale in Twin Peaks? Freddie could be a pretty handy guy to have around.
Its interesting to note that, for once ,one of the Lodge residents actually speaks clearly. Now this could be Freddie telling the story as he came to know the facts.Cleaning up the details. But based on what was said to him ,that has to be the cleanest directions the Fireman or anyone in the history of the Lodge has spoken to another. If only they could make a habit of this our characters could get to the point much easier.
When Freddie goes to get a ticket to fly over to Twin Peaks he is informed that he already has a ticket waiting for him. I imagine it is this same Lodge influence that also helped him get a job with this security company mere days after arriving. His first day in town on the job was most likely in the first episode where we saw him and James come to Roadhouse after work.
Freddie remembers that they have to check the furnaces.James accepts the responsibility. The high pitched ringing resonates much like it did in Benjamin’s office.James follows the noise. His point of view stops on a door.If this were the old series, I could see the noise working as a distraction from his job and he forgets to check the furnaces and we then have a Shining situation on our hands where the boilers explode along with the hotel and everyone in it

Before we go to the Roadhouse ,we stop for a drink at Elk's #9 Point Bar with Sarah Palmer. I'm honestly surprised she leaves her house at night. But she must have run out of Bloody Marys at home and needed a fix.Sarah slowly saddles up to the bad and orders her drink. From the other end of the bar a drunk and unpleasant man approaches Sarah and begins to harass her like many a man has done to a woman in a bar who has the audacity to say no thanks to their attention.
The man persists and Sarah warns him to go back to his seat.He tries to insult her for not giving into his greatness.Berating her by calling her a bull dyke who enjoys eating cunt .To which Sarah menacingly responds "I'll eat you"

Sarah suddenly turns on him.Grabs her face and reveals what has been haunting her all along.Sarah removes the front of her face much like Laura did for Agent Cooper in the Lodge.Like Mother,Like Daughter.Could this indicate a potential confrontation between the two

But underneath her face is something dark and sinister and hungry. It too appears to remove its own face before grinning .The hand seen inside has a scorched ring finger on its left hand.

Sarah says " Do you really want to fuck with this?"

Its possible this is the Experiment we saw escape the glass box in New York.It has a wicked Cheshire grin whose mouth matches that of Laura Palmer.
Sarah places her face back into place and in an instant bites a chunk out of the neck of the trucker who falls to the floor dead. While around the world women watching cheer in solidarity. When a woman says NO...she ....means...NO! Got it fellas?

With not a drop of blood on her , Sarah lets out a scream. The bartender comes running and asks Sarah if she had something to do with this. She innocently says "he just fell over..." .The bartender yells to his wife to call 911 "we've got a dead one at the bar" and threatens Sarah with "we'll see about this" She calmly responds "yeah, sure is a mystery, huh?" Her cold response causes him to wisely take a couple of steps back.
This is sure to lead to a conversation between Sarah and the Sheriff. I hope it is between Truman and Sarah.Though, Hawk seems like the more obvious choice with his earlier visit to the Palmer house.Would they reveal to Sarah that hey found pages from her daughters diary?

What is inside Sarah? and will she get out of this alive? Laura used to say her mother was kinda spooky. She wasn’t kidding. In the original series she was prone to visions and she even was used as a conduit for Windom Earle speaking from the Lodge to Major Briggs. She has had the darkness of the Lodge inside her before , and I'm not just talking about the times she slept with Leland/BOB.
We close at the Roadhouse. James and Freddie haven’t arrived yet. But two ladies sit in a booth talking in this weeks episode of Invitation to Love.Sophie says Megan has been spending too much time up at the nuthouse. Could this be a subtle reveal of where Audrey is now staying? That there is a hospital for troubled minds in town. In a Lodge influenced town like Twin Peaks, there has to be quite a few folks who have lost their marbles over the strange things they have heard, seen, or experienced directly. But if Megan is Tina’s daughter, why would she be spending time at the "nuthouse". Is she participating in experiments involving marijuana use?
Sophie asks if she has seen Billy. She heard that Megan was the last person to see Billy.
Megan explains that "it was so fucking scary". He was in the kitchen with her and her mom. She thinks her uncle was there for some reason, but cant remember.
Any relation to the uncle of the angry woman in the car with the possessed girl?
At the window she sees billy jump over a six foot fence in the backyard. He slams into the kitchen with blood coming out of his nose and mouth. He hangs his head in the sink as blood gushes like a waterfall.Billy turns and gives them a strange look and then bolts out the back again. This takes no more than ten seconds.
Megan admits that she knows her mom and Billy had a thing up till pretty recent. She caught wind of it from time to time by the smile on her face when his name would come up.Her Moms name is Tina.
We know of a Tina as being one of the last people to see Billy. This must have been part of the conversation that Charlie had on the phone in front of Audrey.About Billy arriving, suddenly, bleeding from his nose and mouth just like Audrey had dreamed about. It explains why he is hesitant to tell her what Tina said as it would confirm Audrey’s worst fear that she wouldn’t be able to emotionally handle.Audrey heard about Tina seeing Billy from a Chuck.Could Chuck be the uncle in question in this story?
Once again,Megan cant seem to recall if her uncle was there when they cleaned up the blood left by Billy.
The story comes to a close as tonight’s Roadhouse guest starts badly lip-syncing her song.
Only 4 more episodes to go folks.......
